The Dyatlov Pass Incident was the mysterious deaths of nine hikers atop the Ural Mountains in Russia. The event occured on February 2nd 1959 and has since confounded investigators on what happened that fateful night. The hikers’ bodies were found scattered along the pass, some horrifically maimed but with no signs of struggle as they died. Their tent was destroyed, ripped from within. High doses of radiation were even found on some of the bodies. The unusual circumstances of this night, with the complete lack of witnesses or evidence on what happened, lead investigators to many theories on how these unlucky hikers met their end.

This comic illustrates several of these theories.
